Ladas Named to NE10 Weekly Honor Roll After Keying Upset of No. 13 Stonehill

COLCHESTER, Vt. - Saint Michael's College women's basketball senior Nicole Ladas (Glastonbury, Conn./Tilton School) was named to the Northeast-10 Conference Weekly Honor Roll for the week ending on Sunday, Nov. 21, after keying an upset of nationally-ranked regional power Stonehill College.

A 5-foot-10 forward, Ladas netted a career-high 27 points with eight rebounds and two assists in a 75-72 victory over 13th-ranked Stonehill on Saturday. Ladas, who shot 11-for-20 from the field, including 5-for-9 from three-point range, made the eventual game-winning basket with 20.6 seconds remaining.

Ladas averages 12.7 points on 48.4% shooting for the season, including 57.1% (8-for-14) from three-point range. The captain turns in career highs in rebounding (7.7), offensive boards (2.0) and assists (1.3). Ladas is fourth in both the NE10 and the NCAA East Region in three-point shooting, while she is 11th in rebounding, 15th in field goal percentage and 20th in scoring average among all NE10 players.

Now 1-2 overall and 1-0 in the NE10, the Purple Knights step out of league play to host Bryant & Stratton College of Albany on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
