Nordic Skiing Concludes Competition at Saint Lawrence Carnival

LAKE PLACID, N.Y. - The Saint Michael's College Nordic skiing team completed competition when the three-day Saint Lawrence University Carnival concluded on Sunday at Mount Van Hoevenberg. Combined with the Alpine squad, which raced on Friday and Saturday, the Purple Knights took eighth place among 17 schools.


  • Between the Alpine and Nordic teams, Saint Michael's captured eighth place out of 17 institutions for the carnival with 349 points, holding off Bates College (331) and Harvard University (328).
  • The University of Vermont won the carnival with 895 points.
