COLCHESTER, Vt. - Saint Michael's College men's lacrosse senior Kyle Hirshom (Walpole, Mass./Walpole) was among 10 student-athletes from around NCAA Division II named to the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Team of the Week for the week ending on Sunday, May 1.
Hirshom totaled five goals, two assists and two ground balls at American International College last Tuesday, finishing with career highs in goals and points. The two-year captain registered career highs across the board this season, including scoring 17 goals and adding 19 assists after totaling 13 markers and 12 helpers in his first 25 contests over his initial three seasons. Hirshom turned in 19 ground balls and six caused turnovers, and is tied for ninth in the NE10 in assists. He tallied three man-up goals while handing out eight assists during extra-man opportunities.
