Men's Golf Improves Standing on Second Day at Franklin Pierce Fall Invitational

TOWNSEND, Mass. - The Saint Michael's College men's golf team moved up one spot during the second day of the Franklin Pierce University Fall Invitational on Monday at Northern Spy Golf Club.

TEAM RESULTS

  • The Purple Knights finished 13th out of 16 schools with a 329-314--643 showing, coming within two strokes of 12th-place The College of Saint Rose.
  • Saint Michael's moved from 14th following the opening day thanks to a 15-shot improvement between rounds.
  • Eight of the top 11 squads in the field qualified for the 2022 NCAA Atlantic/East Regional Championship.
