Field Hockey Head Coach Carla Hesler Unveils Newcomers

COLCHESTER, Vt. - Saint Michael's College field hockey head coach Carla Hesler introduced the program's six newcomers on Tuesday, including a pair of transfer student-athletes.

"We are very excited about this class of exceptional student-athletes joining the program," said Hesler. "A mix of experience and youth representing all positions will offer a wide range of talent, maturity, intelligence and work ethic. This group includes two transfers from Division I and Division III institutions and a former Saint Mike's ice hockey player, all with college playing experience. The first-year class offers backgrounds from multi-sport playing experiences to extensive club team competitions. The coaching staff is extremely excited to welcome this group of young women who will no doubt blend with the present team and share in the core values and playing principles to achieve greatness this fall."
